about

In regards to madness, 2021 was worse than 2020, and I wrote this at some point in the process.

I forgot about it and found the recording today. It was kinda slow, sparse, and folksy so I changed the tune a little and added some extra vocals.

lyrics

Everyone, this one for the ages, like it’s written on pages
That you’re sorry you read
It reminds me of a terrible story like some bad memory
That won’t leave your head

If you can’t see it then you might be it
And this makes it so sad
If you know it you can’t show it
The things you thought that you had
aren’t real

Everyone, history is living and it keeps on giving
Like it always gave
The rulers they never stop ruling and they never stop fooling
You need them to be saved

If you can’t see it then you might be it
And this makes it so sad
If you know it you can’t show it
The things you thought that you had
aren’t real

Everyone, the future ain’t pretty things are gonna get gritty
There’s a cloud all around
But I suppose we’ve still got today, they can’t take that away
We aren’t bound to be bound

No, No
No, No
